     Rail drilling machine TFR 330 P 

 

The TFR 330 P rail drilling machine, which is lightweight and easy to use, is composed of a 4-stroke engine and is suitable for drilling 

vignole and grooved rails. The advancing lever is directly connected to the petrol engine. This system allows to use only the power 

which at that moment is necessary for the perforation, limiting the wear of the tool and the fuel consumption. Its large coolant tank 

allows prolonged use of the drill bits. The quick fixing to the rail, the action of the tool completely protected and its balanced handle 

with safety switch, guarantee minimum effort and maximum safety for the operator. Drilling time: ranges from 20 to 60 seconds, de

pending on the diameter of the hole and the hardness of the rail. With the machine we supply the rail profile templates for any type of 

rail (specifying the height of the hole, that is, from the foot to the center of the rail) and, optionally, the drilling templates (hole locators) 

of 4 or 6 perforations can also be supplied, respectively for vignole and grooved rails. The 5 liter tank, the wooden box and the pin for 

the drill bit are included with the machine.

C. Basic structure and working principle
Working principle: The engine supplies power, through the clutch gearing-down, to the main shaft. The main shaft drives the drill rev. to do the drilling operation; at the same time pull the feed handle, through the rack driving the main shaft feeding action, to complete the hole drilling operation.
